Primark Haul, River Island Bag, antique shop finds and Lush.

Hello Peeps!
I've have a busy month! I've got more hours at work! I've been attempting to re-arrange and re-decorate my house. I've been sorting out general life issues, including getting back to my more spiritual side, meditation, yoga etc... and I've been off on an adventure to Exeter to see my old school friends for a much needed-catch up, and obviously some retail therapy occurred!
I did have a huge issue the entire weekend away with my anxiety being on high alert, but I think I kept it quite well in check, with a little help from my friends. It has left me on a bit of a downer though, so to perk myself up...blog post! BOOM.
Product list, prices and links all at the bottom. xoxo

Sick Plugs!

I have two words for you this week; SICK PLUGS

This is -in comparison- a small business, but run just as efficiently, if not more so, from the beautiful home and office of an amazingly feisty woman named Tori. I've been following her (in a completely non-stalker way) on Facebook for about a year now, after discovering one of her many happy customers posting a picture of their purchase on Instagram and i was jealous. I can safely say it's one of the best companies I've followed and bought form in a long time. There's pretty much CONSTANT customer-company contact, and following her on Facebook and Instagram you also get a brief insight into the hectic life of a self-employed genius and her dog Stormie (who's adorable).
You can see she puts every ounce of effort into running this business and it really pays off, for instance;
Last weekend Sick Plugs ran a "Wet weekend" discount code for 50% off all orders (offer now finished)- after outrage following the horrid images of anti-homeless spikes in
London- Tori put up the code and has donated a large amount of that weekends' profits to homeless charities, not to mention in her home town she already does a lot to help the homeless... that is just one teeny reason she is so epic! Of course i couldn't resist a cheeky 50% off and for a good cause so i bought myself some Pikachu plugs. The arrived within 3 days, perfectly packaged, and it's
obvious the Sick Plugs 'Wet Weekend' offer has been popular, with all the awesome images of peoples plugs being shared on Sicks' Instagram and Facebook.

I've been thinking about getting the Pikachu plugs for the past few months and when i did originally go to buy them they were out of stock, but no sad face here! - she kept me up to date on when new stock was arriving which was brilliant, and as Sick usually shares exciting images of their new stock i knew straight away when they were back in! The Pikachu plugs are £6 each and range from 6mm (2g) to 24mm (1").
Another example of how awesome Sick is; Over Easter she got her loyal customers to send in Easter eggs for a local children's hospital, and in return they got a 30% discount code, how freakin' awesome is that!? They regularly run codes, and competitions, also recently started a trend with her Facebook followers of "Guess the plugs" where she posts a photo and you have to guess how many there are to win some! -These are Just a few examples of what this company does on a daily basis so you can see why they're highly recommended by everyone who buys from them.
You can usually find Sick Plugs at most large Tattoo conventions across the UK; the company seems to go hand-in-hand with epic tattooists, as Sick also recently featured exclusive Miss Jo-Black Tattooist artwork on some of her limited edition artist plugs, actually the awesome Miss-Jo done an amazing Moth Tattoo on Tori recently, which i totally nerded-out over as some of my old followers will know a Miss-Jo Black Tattoo is on my
bucket list! Other artists also featured on their plugs are Jenna Kerr and Just Jen Tattooer. All of these exclusive designs are around £5/£6 each and i actually think some are featured in a sale on the Sick Plugs site.
I've featured a few of my favorite plugs below, linked for your pleasure. I do really recommend you go and follow Tori (and Stormies) adventures via Sick Plugs on Facebook and Instagram. Even just for entertainment purposes.

The next plugs on my list to buy are the Snowglobe Plugs. They're insane and appeal to my inner-magpie so they must be purchased! They come in 4 different colours; Mother of Pearl, Pink, Blue and Purple. These are a tad more expensive at £8 each but totally worth every penny. I haven't seen one person who has been disappointed with the Snow Globes and they look stunning on. These start at 10mm (00g) and can go up to 40mm in some colours.

Close behind the Snowglobes and along the same lines are the newly added BLOODGLOBES, in all their gory awesomeness! £8 each In various sizes.

Also for my Ultimate Nerd-gasm are the Adventure Time Plugs, a few different styles but here is LSP in all her Globbing Glory. These are £6 each.

Other Plugs include; Ghostbusters, Daryl Dixon, Breaking Bad, Little Mirmaid, Wood-effect, Stainless steel, glow in the dark, VW logo, Glitter, Mario, Zelda, Storm troopers, Finding Nemo... these are all just what i can remember off the top of my head. There was...maybe...perhaps...a slight...very brief mention... of some FROZEN plugs which literally were revealed yesterday!....

For now i suggest you go to Sick Plugs and shop your heart out! There are some amazing plugs in the £1 sale section so GO GO GO!!!
ALSO Exream Largness will be selling Sick Plug items at DOWNLOAD this weekend so dont miss out on that! If you're reading this on your phone in your tent get off your butt and go support an awesome UK company!

Get sharing your images and get involved on their Facebook Page. Following Sick Plugs will be a great addition to your FB wall, your Instagram feed and to your ears that you wont regret!

Also ladles and jellyspoons don't forget to follow me on my Facebook page or over on my Instagram for future competitions and prizes i have coming up!

*Note; I was not approached by Sick Plugs to write this, this is my OWN review, my OWN opinion and my OWN money i used to buy the plugs. All prices and sizes correct at the time of publishing.

Review; Vinted.com and the App

In Brief; extremely Flawed.

While i understand some of its security features are in place so that nothing dodgy goes on, all it does is create an air of "Vinted is the most backwards and dodgy thing i've even used", and furthermore it's usually good to know some of the vital information and elements up front.
If you downloaded the App from an add on Facebook, like i did you're in for a shock. I uploaded 6 items to sell, and it tells you there and then- when you enter a price to sell for, how much you'll actually get and how much they'll take, which is good, and uploading items using your phone is easy, but the problems started when i actually did sell something...

As someone on a lower income them most, when you sell stuff, through experience using Ebay or Etsy you get the money into your Paypal account and you can use that money to then post the package, NO! not with Vinted, they don't use Paypal either... when someone buys something from you, Vinted STORE all of the money until you send the item, you also have to send the item with a tracking number, otherwise they message you constantly informing you that you haven't posted the item, even though you have the post office reciept, and you waved it Goodbye yourself, and then if you still haven't entered a tracking number they will refund the buyer after 5 days, because OBVIOUSLY you didn't sent it. Then after flapping about this for 3 days you find out there is an "everything is okay" button that the buyer can press if they get the item and you didn't use a tracking number anyway, but that only shows itself on the 4th or last day before the threatened refund, and in the mean time you're constantly pressured for a tracking number that you clearly don't have! There's not even an option for "i don't have a tracking number" it just bullies you into entering random numbers hoping they'll work so you don't get your head flushed!!!
Also if you sell more then two items to one person you have to sell it as a "bundle" otherwise you have to post the items individually to the same person, with individual tracking numbers. They don't tell you this either! No where have i found any information about a "bundle" until they eventually e-mailed me back and informed me of it. They wont accept the same tracking number twice even if both of the items are in that bloody same package.
Oh and don't bother e-mailing for help. They reply pretty much instantly but take ages to get to the point, and end up replying to you 3-4 times before they understand your question and then they talk to you like you're the idiot, even though you've included all the links, pictures and fudging tracking numbers you can get your hands on.

If you research it online too, other complaints include Taking money out of your bank without permission, if you buy something and you want to use the money that is in your Vinted account from you selling, sometimes they don't use that they just use your bank and leave the Vinted account money sat there. But then if you try and withdraw the Money in the Vinted account to your bank it can take 5 working days- or it just doesn't acknowledge you want your money at all and it just keeps hold of it and you end up feeling like your in an eternal battle for the last Doughnut even though YOU bought them.

In short, it seems like a scam, and it probably is a scam, but its great for window shopping, i'd advise if there is anything you do want on there to contact the member, get them to take down the listing, e-mail them you're address, pay them via Paypal and do it all WITHOUT VINTED!!!

Also as a side note...STOP ASKING PEOPLE FOR SWAPS IF THE ITEM LISTED ISN'T FOR SWAPPING! THEN MOAN THAT "NO ONE WILL SWAP"- LOOK FOR THE DAMN SWAPPING ICON MORONS!

The "Blogger made me buy it" TAG

1) Who are your most inffluential blogers? Who are the ones you really, rely on for reviews and swatches?

I follow a lot of Blogger and Vloggers, but i usually find my inspiration from the ones with similar tastes to mine. So People like Helen Melonlady, Bunny, Beautycrush and Leanne Lim-Walker.

2) Do you buy a product solely as a reslut of a review from your favourite blogger, or do you look for more reviews from others?

I always look for more reviews, simply because if you want a fair assessment of an item you need multiple people to provide feedback and reviews as no one is the same so everyone has different opinions and expreiences, so you have to source the average review.

3) What is your favourite item that you have ever bought as a consiquence of other bloggers?

My Fluffy "teddy bear" texture jumper from New Look. I kept seeing bloggers posting OOTD or reviews of their Top Shop cropped fluffy jumpers and i knew i needed one. Ideally i wanted baby-blue one but i could never afford it! I used to just go into Top Shop and stalk it, see if it was reduced, in the sale etc...even looked on ebay and asked on selling sites. But no luck. Then i found a burgandy long fluffy jumper in New Look, nearly as soft and it was in the sale for only £12! So i didnt hesitate encase it was the only chance i had to get one! I literally wear it as much as i can get away with, wash it and re-wear it as soon as it's dry. I love it.

4) What is your Least favourite item that you've bought as a consiquence of others' blogs?

I don't actually have one. Because i no longer have a job, anything i do buy with any spare money i have is usually really well thought about before-hand so i know i'm not waisting money.

5) Name 5 Products you bought recently as a result of Blogs;

1- B Replenished facial oil from Superdrug.

2- Rimmel London Matte Lipstick in shade 103.

3- Burgandy Fluffy Jumper from New Look

4- True Match Minerals Foundation

5- Fudge hair Urban Texture Junk Wax.

6) Have you ever given into blogger hype? I so which hype?

The Beauty oil. I've seen so many bloggers reviewing facial oils and seeing how nice their skin was, as a beauty therapist i thought it was only nessisary i bought some too!

7) Have you ever avoided a blogger hype? If so which one?

I'm avoiding MAC lipsticks like the plague. Not anything against MAC at all but i lack the money to buy any, and once i start i wont stop collecting. Also there are no stores close to me AT ALL. :(

8) Is everything you buy based on blogger reviews or are there some items you buy without checking out a review?

I'm actually the one who finds new things when they're fist released and usually cheaper. So i tend to find things before they're "hyped". Like my BLEACH london hair review, or 18 months or so ago i bought a faux fur coat, now everyones wearing them! Three years ago i was hunting charity (thrift) shops for satchels now they're everywhere and expensive too! I made myself a clear Quartz Necklace from an old quartz pendant that used to be my mums, now they're everywhere, and obviously the L'Óreal skin Perection range i reviewed about a week after it was released. :)

Thanks for reading! Feel free to do this on your own blog! I'm not planning on tagging anyone.
