Sick Plugs!

I have two words for you this week; SICK PLUGS

   This is -in comparison- a small business, but run just as efficiently, if not more so, from the beautiful home and office of an amazingly feisty woman named Tori. I've been following her (in a completely non-stalker way) on Facebook for about a year now, after discovering one of her many happy customers posting a picture of their purchase on Instagram and i was jealous. I can safely say it's one of the best companies I've followed and bought form in a long time. There's pretty much CONSTANT customer-company contact, and following her on Facebook and Instagram you also get a brief insight into the hectic life of a self-employed genius and her dog Stormie (who's adorable).
You can see she puts every ounce of effort into running this business and it really pays off, for instance;
Last weekend Sick Plugs ran a "Wet weekend" discount code for 50% off all orders (offer now finished)- after outrage following the horrid images of anti-homeless spikes in
London- Tori put up the code and has donated a large amount of that weekends' profits to homeless charities, not to mention in her home town she already does a lot to help the homeless... that is just one teeny reason she is so epic! Of course i couldn't resist a cheeky 50% off and for a good cause so i bought myself some Pikachu plugs. The arrived within 3 days, perfectly packaged, and it's
obvious the Sick Plugs 'Wet Weekend' offer has been popular, with all the awesome images of peoples plugs being shared on Sicks' Instagram and Facebook.

I've been thinking about getting the Pikachu plugs for the past few months and when i did originally go to buy them they were out of stock, but no sad face here! - she kept me up to date on when new stock was arriving which was brilliant, and as Sick usually shares exciting images of their new stock i knew straight away when they were back in! The Pikachu plugs are £6 each and range from 6mm (2g) to 24mm (1").
Another example of how awesome Sick is; Over Easter she got her loyal customers to send in Easter eggs for a local children's hospital, and in return they got a 30% discount code, how freakin' awesome is that!? They regularly run codes, and competitions, also recently started a trend with her Facebook followers of "Guess the plugs" where she posts a photo and you have to guess how many there are to win some! -These are Just a few examples of what this company does on a daily basis so you can see why they're highly recommended by everyone who buys from them.
You can usually find Sick Plugs at most large Tattoo conventions across the UK; the company seems to go hand-in-hand with epic tattooists, as Sick also recently featured exclusive Miss Jo-Black Tattooist artwork on some of her limited edition artist plugs, actually the awesome Miss-Jo done an amazing Moth Tattoo on Tori recently, which i totally nerded-out over as some of my old followers will know a Miss-Jo Black Tattoo is on my
bucket list! Other artists also featured on their plugs are Jenna Kerr and Just Jen Tattooer. All of these exclusive designs are around £5/£6 each and i actually think some are featured in a sale on the Sick Plugs site.
          I've featured a few of my favorite plugs below, linked for your pleasure. I do really recommend you go and follow Tori (and Stormies) adventures via Sick Plugs on Facebook and Instagram. Even just for entertainment purposes.

The next plugs on my list to buy are the Snowglobe Plugs. They're insane and appeal to my inner-magpie so they must be purchased! They come in 4 different colours; Mother of Pearl, Pink, Blue and Purple. These are a tad more expensive at £8 each but totally worth every penny. I haven't seen one person who has been disappointed with the Snow Globes and they look stunning on. These start at 10mm (00g) and can go up to 40mm in some colours.

Close behind the Snowglobes and along the same lines are the newly added BLOODGLOBES, in all their gory awesomeness! £8 each In various sizes.

Also for my Ultimate Nerd-gasm are the Adventure Time Plugs, a few different styles but here is LSP in all her Globbing Glory. These are £6 each.

Other Plugs include; Ghostbusters, Daryl Dixon, Breaking Bad, Little Mirmaid, Wood-effect, Stainless steel, glow in the dark, VW logo, Glitter, Mario, Zelda, Storm troopers, Finding Nemo... these are all just what i can remember off the top of my head. There was...maybe...perhaps...a slight...very brief mention... of some FROZEN plugs which literally were revealed yesterday!....

For now i suggest you go to Sick Plugs and shop your heart out! There are some amazing plugs in the £1 sale section so GO GO GO!!!
ALSO Exream Largness will be selling Sick Plug items at DOWNLOAD this weekend so dont miss out on that! If you're reading this on your phone in your tent get off your butt and go support an awesome UK company!

Get sharing your images and get involved on their Facebook Page. Following Sick Plugs will be a great addition to your FB wall, your Instagram feed and to your ears that you wont regret!

Also ladles and jellyspoons don't forget to follow me on my Facebook page or over on my Instagram for future competitions and prizes i have coming up!

*Note; I was not approached by Sick Plugs to write this, this is my OWN review, my OWN opinion and my OWN money i used to buy the plugs. All prices and sizes correct at the time of publishing.

March Birchbox

Hey followers! Thanks for checking back, i haven't disappeared i've just been super-busy!

This months Birchbox may well be my last for a few months, and i'm so sad that i'm going out on such an AWESOME BOX. I was kind of hoping it'll follow the usual trend of a few good boxe's and then a rubbish one, but i can safely say Birchbox havent been a let down yet.

Anyway in this months box we had;
NOMS! Thats right this moths boxs' theme was "Good Enough to Eat" and boy it was!!!

This months "Lifestyle Extra" was Propercorn usually £0.90 per bag. I got the flavour Sweet Coconut and Vanilla, they also do Lightly Seasalted, Soured cream and Chive, Fiery Worcester Sauce & Sun-Dried Tomato and Sweet and Salty.
The Coconut and Vanilla Flavour i tried was a bit bland at first, but it was so yummy after a few mouth-fulls. Something i will definetly be buying.

The Balm Cosmetics 'How 'bout them Apples' Cheek and Lip Cream, £26-£32 for full size pallet with all 6 Shades price depending on where you buy it from.
I don't usually use a lot of blush as i spend most of my morning trying to cover up my red cheeks. But this creme adds a nice healthy glow, i found i would use it along with bronzer to add a fresh sun-kissed look to my skin. The fact its a cream also means you can choose the opacity of the product, and its multi use so lip balm and cheek colour. I got mine in the shade "Pie" plus there's some FIT Cowboys to perv at on the inside so the packaging gets a million thumbs up! :p

RMK Make Up Base Soft, silk, smooth and slightly toned, has a really light vanilla smell to it, leaves your skin easy to work with for foundation and concealer base. A tad pricey at £28 but i've used my 15ml sample every day since i got my box at the begning of the month and it's not even half empty, so a good investment. It doesn't leave me with breakouts after either like some primers do, as it's so light i find it doesn't clog up my pours.

Colour Club Nail Polish last month Birchbox sent out and e-mail asking subscribers to choose a nail polish colour from this amazing brand, i choose the pastel green colour called "Breakfast At..." as i understand most people did indeed get the colour they selected and i'm totally in love with it. Of the four colour options (green, blue, gold and white) i choose the green because it was something different for my polish collection. I have a lot of different shades by different brands but they're all mostly warmer reds, pinks, golds browns and blacks, i just love this colour. Only downside, that even with my hardest wearing base and top coat's it still chipped after a day or so. :( £15 for the full set of 4.

Laura Mercier Souffle Body cream is AMAZING that is all...
But seriously i want to eat it. I know i cant and it's such a shame but it smells edible and the scent lasts all day on your skin. £27 for an average size tub, but worth it! I haven't even used a quarter of my sample in 3 weeks so it really lasts. Highly recommend it, everyone's been complimenting me on it.

Yin Yang Natural Moisturiser £13.95. this is my least favorite, i don't like the smell at all, it does the job and leave your skin feeling awesome but i'm not sure i want to put it that close to my nose every day.

So that was all in this Month's Birchbox. As i said i doubt i'll be getting one next month but i have a few awesome things coming up so stay tuned. And as usual dont forget to follow me on
INSTAGRAM -I post here nearly every day.

Primark and New Look haul, plus interesting price differences between AX Paris online and in store....

First things first. I have to address my BARGAIN OF THE DAY:

This is my nude/pink and black Body con dress from AX Paris. Bought in store from New Look. Now as i said in the title, there was a very large price difference when i looked up the dress online to add a link to my blog, on the Offical AX Paris website it is Listed as £40 HERE.
While I luckily enough picked up the Dress for only £16 in the Sale in New Look. I know obviously they have completely different marketing and pricing techniques as obviously New Look buys in AX Paris stuff and sells it for them, like Quiz clothing do as well. But i would have thought that in order to reduce the price of an item from an outside label it would have to be instructed by the label's owner, and then they too would match the price, as what is stopping someone from buying the £16 one from New Look, taking off the New Look tag and taking it back to AX Paris to get a £40 refund... Or am i the only one who thinks bad people would do things like this...
ANYWAY moving on, i also bought a small bag to match from New Look, It's literally the perfect match, with a beautiful Gold chain strap, this was £12.99 brand new.
I'm so happy with this outfit when i put it on, all i need now are some shoes. Oh i should probably add it's for a friends wedding in april so i deliberetly went for similar or matching items, and the longer sleeves were just a plus for me, because as much as i like showing off my Tattoos i find my upper arms are a problem area for me and i like to hide them when there are cameras about.

Also in the New Look sale i FINALLY got my hands on a FLUFFY JUMPER>>> Not the Pale blue cropped Top Shop one I wanted, but when on a budget you have to say No sometimes. Especially at those prices. This one is just as soft, bigger and slightly baggier but i love the fit. I couldn't decide between the cream or the burgandy colour, in the end i bought the darker, simply because when i'm eating, food seems to be attracted to my breasts, and i'm less likely to stain a dark plum one.
That was £12, and i bought it in size bigger as i like to layer my jumpers and not feel too resticted. Because of how wide the neck is it looks lush with a shirt on underneath and the collar peaking through.
Final thing from New Look in the sale again were these amazing little Candy-Skull nail wraps that were only £1! Amazing! So far they've lasted 3 days with minimal chipping, and i've still done my usual day-to-day cleaning and washing up. So well worth the money!

Next are a couple of bits from Primark;
First of all these skinny, faux leather trousers. If you've followed me on previuos blogs you'll know i'm a sucker for leather but i never used to wear it as i'm a size 16 i had it drummed into my head that i was "too big". But sod it! I now own two pairs of faux leather trousers, and when i pass my bike licence i'll be in leather a hell of a lot more.

Then i saw this, and if you know me at all, even just a tad, you'll know that ANYTHING with My Little Pony on is MINE! It's like one of a few things i can remember vividly and fondly from when i was younger. When it first came into fashion and everyone was going on about "retro" My Little Pony items and i just complained, i didn't want to share my "thing" with anyone. Obviously it's not exclusivly MINE but you get what i mean. I didn't want my quirky little thing to become everyones fashion statement, but i take it all back. It's so much easier to find MLP items now!

I also own the white t-shirt they had of MLP, back in August. Next on the agenda is their MLP pyjamas! Muwahahaha!

And last but not least i had to add on this little Geisha Make up bag i bought from a charity shop, still brand new, never used had it's tags on it. And was only £1.75! So pretty and the colours are amazing.

As usual thank you all for reading my lovlies! And thank you so much for all your support so far! Already! It's been a crazy two months back on the scene!
Don't forget to add me on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
