March Birchbox
Well, i didn't order it but it arrived anyway...suspicous but true. Alas i will not grumble because its been nothing but awesome since i opened it this morning!
Look at all the awesome!
This month saw Birchbox have a little collaboration with Lulu Guinness fashion and accessories designer. If i'm honest the only real input i can see from this iconic lady is the black and white stripe pattern and her red lip, on the outer box sleeve, the stick of rock (which inspired her latest "candy shop" collection), also a very generous £20 off when you spend £100 in any Lulu Guinness store, and a lil book of "Life Lessons, as told by Lulu Guinness.
Other then that it's just the usual lil' box ó awesome samples.
First up, and perhaps weirdest of all is: Cellu-Cup! This is a new "massage" tool to help reduce cellulite. You squish all of the air out of it, suction it to your skin in the shower (must be wet) and massage your cellulite affected areas and it apparently gets rid completley after a few uses. Cellu-Cup is £16.
Next up is Benefit's Stay don't stray Eyeshadow primer in a light/medium shade. £20.50, i used it today, it works. Need i say more!?
Dr.Brandt, Pores no more, pore refiner. £39. I used this before my make-up, it's especially designed for oily skin, people with open pores, it works quite well but has quite a strong tea tree smell to it which i personally dont find very appealing. But thats a personal prefrence.
This Aroma Works Nurture Oil £32.50, is supposed to be applied after you get out of the shower, but i couldn't resist; and i'm glad i didn't wait. It makes your skin feel amazing and smells JUST like lemon sherbert. :)
Lastly, but my utter-most favorite item and my new MUST-HAVE perfume is English Laundry's No.7 For Her. £47. It's a beautiful scent that stays on your skin for such a long time. I cannot get enough of this stuff i'm actually scared of when it runs out. I'll be so sad.
I'm off to eat my Lulu Guinness Candy rock!
Enjoy!

My Make-up room tour, kinda-thing...
I have been requested to do this over on my Instagram a few times. I don't have a make-up room, more of a "sizeable area" in my bedroom for such things.
So here's some room porn:
This is a make-up brush wrap i made myself. :)
This last image shows my glass vanity tray which was 40p from a thrift/charity store and the glass pot with my brushes in was also a thrift/charity find for 30p.
The candy Skull is a gift from a friend that broke.
The snowman is on my desk all year round, simply because it was onoe of the last gits i got from my friend Yuka in Japan before the Tsunami and i lost contact with her. :(
Anyway thanks for porning with me. Most of my storeage items are DIY or thrift shop/charity shop finds.
Hope you enjoyed! :)

My accidental Silver Hair.
I originally wanted to post about my " amazing lilac hair" but unfortunatly it will not be so, its been BLEACH London pink again, but the colour i bought from Sallys actually turned out to be a mixer toner rather then just a colour, although the silly lady at the shop didnt tell me that. I went ahead and done it anyway. After doing a test strip on my hair i decided it was AWESOME. Especially, seems as this time last year i was attempting to go silver and ended up ginger, i'd say an accidental silver is a WIN all round.
I used a Clynol Viton S Mix tone in "pale blue" which was a lilac colour on a white hair sample, with an a 3% 10 VOL Creme Peroxide, at a ratio of 1:1 all over,
I only left the dye on for 15 min, seems as i was only a toner. And Voilá!

Small haul! Local shops and Charity (thrift) shops!
THINGS!
I don't have a lot of money floating around at the moment so i've had to be especially stingy with money this week. I also had an unexpected bill of buying my poor lil corn snake a new heat matt as hers broke! :( but mooch is fine now, all warm and snuggly with her new (and expensive) heat matt! - I'm thinking i may need one. I'm ALWAYS COLD at the moment.
Moving on!
My Eyeko Eyeliner pen ran out the other day, only a small sample one from my Birchbox, but i couldn't buy another one (£10) so i had to find a suitable alternative, so i found this Seventeen Brand at BOOTS (uk) and they do this liquid, felt liner "Make Your Mark"ïn black for only £3.99. (Boots have a 3 for 2 offer across the store at the moment too!) (Also the Seventeen brand do a new blusher called a "powder press" its a nifty lil' gadget and i reckon it'll be a new "big thing" so go and get t before it gets too expensive!)
It works just as well as the Eyeko one and dare i say is even a bit bolder and darker. Perhaps not as long-wearing but i'm not planning on keeping eyeliner on for 14 hours.
Next was POUNDLAND. A great British institution, where you can now buy brand-name products for only...you guessed it £1! Thanks to rubbish packaging or teeny tiny spelling mistakes on the bottle... their loss! MY GAIN! MUUUWHAHAAHH, so i managed to pick up...for the grand total of £1 each... a Gel-like Nail polish in a Burgandy-Pink shade from a brand called "Pretty", a Rimmel pearlescent Nail varnish in a petrol-tone purple/green/blue wich is AMAZING. A purple handled Kabuke Brush, with lace print and butterflys on the handle too, you cannot tell it's a cheaper brand... well i guess for now untill the hairs fall out! And a Celvin Klein cream eye-shadow in a Pearl-white, i also previously bought an identicle CK eyeshadow in a brushed steel colour.
I also picked up a reed diffuser for my living room, some scented candles and some odd make up applicator sponges which are always handy! So i was quite chuffed with that!
From Primark... for £2.50 i got these MY FREAKIN' LITTLE PONY Socks, if you've read my blog i need not remind you of my unhealthy obsession with MLP and how i must COLLECT ALL THE THINGS! So seeing these i nearly cried! They also apparently had leggings...but i've missed that boat, there we're none left in my entire store! *weep*
From one of my lovely local charity shops i found this Beauty/Vanity case, it was part of a gift set for Sarah J-Parkers "Lovely" perfume as it's branded on the front and the "SJP" is branded inside, bit i loved the colour, the pattern of the fabric inside, also the little pouch and mirror detail inside too, and it was only £1.50 so now it's on my dressing table as my new home for my eyeshadows. :)
Wilko's i bought some Scented candles, they were in the sale for 75p, and a garland of pale-dusty pink fairy light flowers to decorate my vanity mirror. They're so pretty. (You'll see them set up in my next post) They were also in the sale for £5.
And finally, but by no means least... i bough these two amazing new additions to my office room, also from a charity shop, they were only £2...
LIME-GREEN GNOMES! i mean...who the hell DOESN'T need a pair of Metallic, lime-green gnomes to brighten up their room!? And their chubbly little faces are staring at me right now. I need to come up with names for them, so far the one with the pipe is "Phil".
Any name ideas let me know!
Thanks for reading guys! XxX
